Refunds & Returns

Refunds and Returns

If you are unhappy with your order, please let us know! We accept returns or exchanges for all items within 14 days of the shipping date. Please email us at info@meandzena.com  within 7 days of receiving your order to arrange for a refund or exchange. Returns or exchanges made without prior notification may not be processed. Merchandise must be returned in the same condition as it was received. Unfortunately, we cannot make a refund for goods that have been damaged by you after receipt; the goods are your responsibility until they reach us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the goods using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. Return shipping charges are non-refundable and are the full responsibility of customer. Your refund will be credited in the same manner and to the same account used to make the original purchase. Please note that for hygiene reasons ME & ZENA cannot return or exchange earrings.

Exchanges: We are happy to exchange goods for other products, however we will have to charge postage for all re-delivery, which will be calculated accordingly. This also includes exchanges within the UK. Postage will be charged to the card you used to make the original purchase. We will always advise you of postage costs before we proceed.

Delivery Schedule

All requests are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price by us. We will deal with your order promptly. We aim to dispatch goods within 3 working days if in stock, but please allow 28 days for the goods to reach you.

ME & ZENA cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged once dispatched, both within the UK and when being posted to overseas locations. We are not responsible for any delay in delivery occurring due to postal delays or forces beyond our control.

Order Cancellation

Under the United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order and obtain a full refund. Please note that earrings are non-returnable for hygiene reasons.

Please log into your account and if the order status is still “Processing” it may be possible to cancel your order before it is despatched. All order cancellations must be sent to us via e-mail quoting your name, order number and full address. If however your order status is “despatched” you will need to return the order to us at your own expense. See 'Can my order be refunded or exchanged'.

My ME & ZENA jewellery has broken, what can I do?

We endeavor to make our jewellery to the highest standards possible; however if in the rare event your ME & ZENA jewellery breaks, please do not hesitate to send it back to us to be fixed or depending on the circumstances, replaced. We will consider all cases for a full refund or exchanged for faulty goods up to 6 months after purchase.

Payment Details & Security

All payments to ME & ZENA are handled securely by securetrading and Barclaycard merchant services (Internet Service Payment Providers).
Payment will be debited from your card or account before the dispatch of the goods you have purchased. You will be issued with an electronic transaction receipt, which will be sent to the email address you provide.

ME & ZENA does not hold your credit or debit card details.

Personal data

ME & ZENA will be processing the customer's e-mail address, delivery address and contact telephone number for the purposes of performing the order you place with us. We will not pass on your personal data to any third parties. You have the right to access and/or correct your personal data at anytime. As we have already stated we do not collect or hold any credit/debit card information from you. We will use all reasonable endeavors to ensure that the information we hold about you is accurate and up to date.

How to place an order

Browse through the site and select the items that you would like to purchase by clicking "Buy Me", if the item comes in different colour-ways then select your preferred colour first. These items will be forwarded to your shopping cart. You can click on "Shopping Bag" at anytime to update the contents of your shopping cart. When you are ready to pay click "Checkout" to begin the checkout process. Here you will be asked to login, if you don’t have an account it’s really quick and easy to do and once we have your details we can send out your order.

If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. Your card will be authorised in real time and you will be given confirmation of a successful payment.

Order Cancellation

Shipping

As you go through the checkout process your total postage and packaging costs will be calculated according to weight and size as per standard Royal Mail pricing. We send our goods by Royal Mail recorded delivery. We do not make a profit on postage costs. We can ship to the following countries only:

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UK, USA.

Out Of Stock

We cannot guarantee your exact item will be in stock. If your item is not in stock, we will notify you by e-mail. You will always be notified with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Trading Terms

These terms and conditions will apply to all orders for the purchase of goods from the ME & ZENA web site. By placing an order you are indicating your acceptance of these terms and conditions. That you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to make your purchase and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods. It is your responsibility to inform us of any changes to these details as soon as possible. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

All prices are as stated on the “ME & ZENA” website, although “ME & ZENA” reserves the right at any time to revise the price of goods without notice.

Warranties

ME & ZENA is unable to provide any warranties in relation to goods provided over and above its statutory obligation to provide goods of satisfactory quality in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act 1979 as amended by the Supply of Good and Services Act 1994. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

ME & ZENA’s Limited Liability

Except in relation to liability for death or personal injury ME & ZENA’s liability for negligence shall be limited to the total value of the transaction. “ME & ZENA” shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special losses even if “ME & ZENA” has previously been advised of the likelihood of such losses.
Availability of Website

Jewellery

Caring for your ME & ZENA jewellery

Most ME & ZENA jewellery is costume jewellery, which means it is made out of plated base metals rather than solid gold or silver. This means that it is a lot easier on your wallet but needs a little more TLC. Here are some tips for keeping your jewels looking shiny and new!

Never wear your ME & ZENA jewellery in the shower or bath.
Take your ME & ZENA jewellery off when you go to bed.
Try not to wear your ME & ZENA jewellery every day.
Always keep your ME & ZENA jewellery in a closed jewellery box or pouch when you are not wearing it.

Materials

Unless otherwise stated in the product description our jewellery is made out of a variety of base metals, which are then plated. If you have a skin allergy and have a query about what a specific piece of jewellery is made out of please do not hesitate to contact us on 0208 829 8984.
