When Lindsay’s affair with Sam start?
Lilo first met Samro in 2004 while filming the teen epic Mean Girls. They were photographed together more and more until in 2008 it became practically undeniable they were together. The first official confirmation was on the radio show Loveline, when Lindsay said they’d been dating ‘a very long time’.
Were they both in love? What were the tell tale signs?
Yes, very much so. They were seen everywhere together for 2 years, they wore matching rings, they commented on each other’s Facebooks (with the coveted ‘in a relationship’ status), Lindsay went to all Sam’s rubbish DJ events, despite (at the time) being a teetotal non drug taker. They went out for sushi with each other’s mothers. They went on holiday to Cabo in Mexico and frolicked in the waves while Sam looked uncomfortable in a bikini. And cutest of all they went to Disneyland together around last Halloween and were photographed together wearing cute kiddies hats. They were happy.
What did Lindsay see in Sam?
She trusted her, Sam didn’t sell her out. Sam didn’t let her down and she supported her after rehab. The tabloids conveniently forgot most of the time that Sam refused to talk about Lindsay, she had her own money and tried to avoid courting the press as much as possible.
Has she always been secretly gay?
Basically yes. It’s rumored that a character on Lesbian TV series ‘The L Word’ is based on Lilo. ‘Niki’ was a young hot actress who had loads of flings with women and her people were desperate to keep her in the closet to protect her image.
Why did it all go wrong?
Lilo’s attention seeking nature, her alleged drug abuse, the fact that Sam’s family didn’t approve. It all came to a head at the party at Chateau Marmont for ‘I Heart Ronson’, a party for Charlotte (Sam’s twin sister) Ronson’s fashion label. Lindsay wasn’t invited, and kind of broke in anyway. Sam was crying in a toilet while all her family and friends interfered. Lilo was alone and embarrassed. Sam changed the locks on her house. Lindsay went into denial and still wrote stuff on Sam’s Facebook like ‘hi baby, let me know when you land’ etc.
Who dumped who?
Sam dumped Lindsay.
What are the telltale signs she is heartbroken?
She’s lost loads of weight (and some of her mind with it), she’s been crazy tweet ramblin’ at 2am, obviously the alleged drug abuse now the apparent facial surgery. Also, Lindsay made a PR blunder by appearing on Ellen a few weeks after the Ronson party, seemingly desperate and in deep denial. What’s the state of play now?
On again, off again. Sam seems embarrassed about it all, Lindsay seems desperate. Lindsay is trying to be a trooper and has thrown herself into her work, or what she now considers work now her acting career has tanked: the Ungaro fashion show in Paris and her tanning line Sevin Nyne.
